Your Questions, Answered

  • Yes, I provide seasonal wedding flowers across Cornwall, grown and arranged from the Walled Garden at Eathorne Manor near Falmouth.

I offer both full-service wedding floristry and a guided “do it with me” approach for couples who would like to feel involved without having to do everything themselves.

If you’re not sure what you need yet, that’s completely fine. We can start with how you want the day to feel and shape the flowers from there.

  • “Do it with me” wedding flowers are a more supported version of DIY wedding flowers.

I design and create the key floral pieces — such as bouquets, urns, arches or statement arrangements — and guide you through the parts you’d like to create yourself, such as bud vases or table centres.

It’s ideal if you want to feel connected to your flowers, but don’t want the pressure of managing everything alone.

  • No, you don’t need to know flower names, stem counts, or exactly what should go where. Most couples don’t.

It’s enough to know how you want your wedding to feel: soft and romantic, wild and meadowy, colourful and joyful, or quietly elegant. From there, I’ll guide you towards seasonal flowers that will work beautifully for your day.

  • Yes, I create bespoke farewell flowers in Cornwall using seasonal flowers grown and gathered with care.

These can include hand-tied sheafs, wreaths, simple casket flowers or bespoke personal tributes to echo the unique memory of your loved one. for example a pair of their decorated work boots or a fishing rod twined with blooms. I can gently include favourite colours, flowers, or small details to reflect the life being remembered.

My farewell flowers are natural, seasonal and biodegradable wherever possible.

  • Seasonal flowers have a beauty and character that imported flowers often lack.

They are scented, full of movement, and reflect the time of year and the place they were grown. Choosing locally grown flowers also supports wildlife, reduces flower miles, and helps create arrangements that feel natural rather than forced.

At Precious & Wild, flowers are grown with care in Cornwall, following sustainable principles and with deep respect for the soil, the garden and the seasons.

  • Working with me is calm, collaborative and gently guided.

You don’t need to know flower names, stem counts or exactly what should go where. Most people come to me with a feeling, a few images, or a sense of what they don’t want — and that is more than enough.

We’ll start with simple questions about your day, your venue, your colours and how you’d like everything to feel. From there, I’ll help shape your ideas into flowers that feel natural, seasonal and personal to you.

For weddings, this usually begins with a Floral Design Consultation, followed by a mood board and proposal so you can see the direction clearly. Nothing is set in stone at that stage. it gives us a starting point to refine the vision together within your budget.

My aim is for the whole process to feel reassuring, enjoyable and unpressured, with flowers that feel beautifully suited to you and the moment you’re marking.
